Learn moreThe invited talk by Oleh Yermakov was given at the conference “Prospects for the Implementation of Innovations in Nuclear Energy” on 26 September 2025. It was devoted to the possible directions of interaction between the Ukrainian Society of Optics and Photonics and the Ukrainian Nuclear Society combining photonics and nuclear physics communities.
We announced the creation of the Ukrainian Optical and Photonic Society at several international conferences including NANO-2024 in Uzhhorod on 21 August 2024 (see the photo) and Hypercomplex Seminar 2024 on 14 September 2024.
We introduced the Ukrainian Optical and Photonic Society and discussed its goals and core values at the Institute of Electronic Physics in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. In addition, we also held a seminar for young scientists who reported on their scientific advancements.
On the Day of Science in Ukraine, May 18, 2024, Karazin University hosted Nano Talks – a series of short popular science talks for a wide audience on nanotechnology.
