NanoTalks 2024

Dedicated the Day of Science in Ukraine, May 18, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University hosted Nano Talks – a series of short popular science talks in TEDx format for a wide audience on nanotechnology.
The speakers included students, researchers and lecturers of the Department of Computational Physics and the Department of Theoretical Radiophysics. They discussed modern applications of nanostructures in various fields, namely, integrated circuits, remote light collection, biodetection, laser light generation and solar panels. The presentations were followed by interesting questions and lively discussions.
The event was organized by the student chapter of the international optics and photonics communities SPIE and Optica “Karazin Photonics” in partnership with Ukrainian Optical and Photonic Society with the support of the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global) and the European Commission's EURIZON Fellowship Program for Ukraine.
